Established in 1962, The American University of Paris is today an independent, international, urban Bachelor’s/Master’s university located at the crossroads of France, Europe, and the world.

We aim to provide the finest American undergraduate and graduate programs in Europe to students from all national, linguistic, and educational backgrounds, and to take our place as a renowned European center for innovative interdisciplinary research and scholarship. To that end, our curriculum is comparative, cross-cultural and contemporary, featuring student learning experiences and faculty research agendas that center upon critical 21st century issues.

AUP features an innovative model of integrated classroom learning and hands-on research that prepares students both to master and to make, to reflect and to apply, to analyze and to act.
